First subject is my cat bit my mom and sent her to the
emergency
room. My cat bites my wife and bites most people in our
family. My cat is overweight. One solution is perhaps I should
not feed my cat so much food. My cats feet appear to be okay.
I believe there are too many frivolous malpractice
lawsuits and there should be
a way to prevent them. The best way to do this is for a patient to think twice before
deciding who to sue.
Another topic is that if a podiatrist did not complete a
podiatric residency training program
if they had completed such a more than 10 years ago, I believe such training or experience problably
is probably outdated and does not reflect upon current competence. For example in 1991 I performed
a joint implant procedure with grommets. Such experience I feel is outdated and does not reflect
upon my current competence at performing that procedure. Similarly for a hospital or state licensure
board to require minimal podiatric residency training such training I believe may be outdated and
does not reflect upon current competence if such training was completed more than 10 years ago.
It is difficult to have a podiatrist leave private practice to complete a certified podiatric residency program.
